Never happy with default font in word every time you start typing out a new document? Well lets show you how to go about changing the default font so that it always has the font you want when you open a new document.
If you open Word, and open a new document, on the home tab, in the Font group, click on the arrow in the lower-right corner to open the Font dialog box (Image 1). Adjust the font and font size to suit yourself, but instead of clicking OK, click Set As Default (image 2). In the next dialog box that appears, select All Documents Based On The Normal Template and click OK (Image 3).
These changes apply to the Normal.dotm template, but if you'd like to change the default font for another template, simply open a document based on that specific template, and follow the steps above.
